This was inspired by a walk with my wife and friends just before I was due to go into hospital. The walk in the dales on a sunny day and chat over a brew and cake helped put it in perspective and gave me the impetus to look forward to more days like this. My artwork has been important to me and was one of the constants through treatment. Time for a brew still helps me reflect on how fortunate I am and to press on for better times.
